Poppleton Bowls club (PBC) is a registered charity and is a section of the Poppleton Community Centre.
From seasoned players to juniors and social members, there's a place for everyone.
Want to try bowls? Join us for free coaching sessions every Tuesday at 6:30 PM during the season. All you need is a pair of flat-soled shoes—we’ll provide the bowls.
Our club is more than just bowls! We host a range of social events throughout the year, creating opportunities to connect with friends and neighbors.
Nestled in the heart of Nether Poppleton, adjacent to the Poppleton Community Centre, PBC offers a unique blend of sportsmanship and social connection. As a registered charity, we aim to promote health, recreation, and community engagement through the wonderful game of bowls.
Social Events are held on a regular basis during the year. PBC welcomes players of all skill levels. Social bowling takes place every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday afternoons, providing the perfect opportunity to enjoy a friendly game in a relaxed setting.
